Is It Just Me Or Has GTB Stopped Users From Transferring Money With Quickteller? by Nobody: 10:12pm On Sep 07, 2014
This has been bugging me for a while, i usually use my GTB Internet Banking profile to transfer instant funds with my current account but sometimes that the money would be in my Savings account and i need to send it as quick(GTB Does not allow Savings account send Instant Funds) so i try quickteller and i always get this

http://prntscr.com/4ko9n3

Why? Even when sending N1000..

Does it mean, GTB is forcing Internet Banking? I also notice the Airtime does not work on Quickteller unless Internet Bank is used

Na by force?

Moving it would require a transfer.. Wouldn't it? And its still the same process. [s]I can not find any option in the Internet banking to transfer money in between accounts [/s]

[s]Unless i manually go to the ATM => Withdraw => Goto The Bank => Deposit in current.. Ah! Because of how much? 1500?
[/s]

Edit:- "Own Account Transfer" I can easily transfer the money to the second account smiley

But what about those who have Savings account? Can't they use Quickteller?

I think Gtbank stopped that since early February. Only bill payments remained but transfers stopped.

I think for some reasons, Interswitch blocked cards from GTBank from its online platform earlier this year.

From the error message displayed, it might also be possible you never increased your card's default limit ...amount per day which again might have been set to the barest minimum because of the frequent fraud complaints from GTBank card holders.

Last Bullet: If you have your savings account as the bulk holder of your funds and also tied your debit card to the savings, you might be at risk if your card is compromised.
