Turns out Critics of Lady Gaga have moved on from her risqué outfits, to criticizing her body.

On Monday night, the 28-year-old posted two snapshots in a tan monokini, which sparked a flurry of tweets from fans about body image.

“#bodyrevolution Proud at any size, because the inside is what really counts,” Gaga captioned one posed poolside picture. “Plus, it’s all how you pose! just ask the supermodels!”

Not long after, commenters began leaving negative comments about her body, until one fan came to her rescue, saying, “To everyone saying Gaga is fat: I dare you to post a picture of your belly and your legs now.”
Gaga responded to the upset, “I’d rather be fat than be shallow.”
