When a farmer neglects his field, weeds begin to grow and flourish, when a parent neglects her child, it begins to pick up terrible habits, and when a couple neglects their marriage, it begins to fall apart because of the absence of intimate romance.

One of the habits that ruin romance in relationships is neglect. When you seize to communicate your intentions because you feel your spouse should understand, leaving room for misconceptions, when you abandon nurturing your love-life regularly because of other priorities, when you fail to make deposits in our spouse's love tank etc

When neglect grows in a marriage it overshadows and dims the light of marital romance; remember whatever is not tended begins to deteriorate.
