It's noteworthy that within 24hours, there are two related topic to this thread, the first listed 6 reasons not to attend private university while the second thread listed exactly 6 reasons not to attend public university.

This thread is created to sample your opinion on the better choice of university.

public universities are better than private universities or let me say business universities. Most people attend private university because they didn't get up to 200 in jamb , most of them have something like 120, 150, 179 , 180 , 190 etc

UNILAG cos ah wanna compete nd b recognised among d bests.... No much competetion in priv8 unis

i'd prefer public universities...u get life experiences, learn hw to deal with disappointments...learn to act with wisdom...u learn to struggle and to take initiative...universities shud nt only teach academics buh also life lessons...cos it wont be nice learning those lessons in an unforgiving outside world..
But this is one man's opinion ..who graduated from a public university
