Gionee V188 Review Specifications – Huge 5200mAH Battery Nicky Arriola September 1, 2014 Gionee V188 Review Specifications – Huge 5200mAH Battery 2014-09-01T19:01:59+00:00 China phone review, Gionee, MT6582 3 Comments Accepting the challenge from 5AH phones such as the THL 5000, Gionee is stepping up to the plate with their V188 featuring a 5200mAH battery comboed with their own developed power saving technology. The V188 will be featuring a MediaTek SoC, using the MT6582 chipset with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz. The GPU is a dual core ARM Mali-400, clocked at 500MHz. It will come with a 1GB RAM capacity and an 8GB ROM. There is no need to worry about the limiting 8GB internal storage size as the V188 can support external microSD cards up to 128GB. The screen will be an IPS, capacitive, 5.0” multi-touch featuring a 720p x 1280p display resolution. Primary rear camera is 8MP, and it has a secondary cam with 2MP resolution. It will support the usual sensors – GPS, Proximity, etc. and as an added bonus, will be playing host to the recent HotKnot technology. Network capabilities extend from GSM, 3G (UMTS 850/900/2100; TD-SCDMA 1900/2000) and TD-LTE. Despite the large battery, the form factor will not be much different from its V185 predecessor. The phone’s dimensions settle at 144.5mm x 71.45mm x 10.4mm. the phone is capable of doubling as a power bank The battery is incredibly a replaceable 5200mAH Lithium Polymer type. With Gionee’s own tailored power-saving technology in play, data show that standby time can go as high as 700 hrs. Furthermore, the phone is capable of doubling as a power bank, with its OTG reverse charging function. The V188 will be running Android 4.4.2 and is getting ready to hit the markets with a price tag around $244. Lagusta:A chronic liar?? So bcz you can't afford it, it means no Nigerian can afford it ryt? Anyway... 2gb RAM 64gb ROM HD Screen NFC HDMI port 1.5ghz Dual Core Snapdragon Processor (Its not quad core but u would never experience any lag or slow loading bcz of the optimized bb os 10.2) You can't even compare my snapdragon processor to the chinko mediatek used on that crap.. The two phones have the same 8mp and 2mp cameras, but quality stands out.. My 8mp camera would beat that of gionee any time any day!!! The only downside z d battery, but with my ever faithful 10000mah powerbank, I can use my phone for two days without charging... Next time, don't compare a crap with my machine.. Its an Insult! |
