Jonathan’s order as callous, deceitful

Former Minister for Education and a prominent face of the
#BringBackOurGirls group, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has described
the order by President Goodluck Jonathan for the removal
of the offensive #BringBackJonathan signs as deceitful and
callous.
She stated that the President cannot claim ignorance of the
hashtag that was allegedly started by his aide, Dr. Doyin
Okupe, posting some of the earlier tweets of Dr. Okupe to
back her claims.
It will be recalled that the president on Wednesday morning
ordered the removal of the signs and banners which he
described as offensive and repugnant, claiming ignorance of
the action by his supporters.

Haba now...... Do you know for how long this #bringbackjonathan hash-tag has been and the campaign posters courtesy of house to house campaign organization has been on.... You mean GEJ was not aware since all this while, so how did he found out... Even the abati you are trying to protect is an active twitter user, so you can't tell me he too is also not aware of the hash-tag. Am very sure he must have tweeted or retweeted the hash-tag.

If Doyin Okupe did not get approval from the president like you say, then he should be fired. The fact that he still works for Jonathan as I type this means that he did it with Jonathan's tacit approval.

Guy, we all know Jonathan had all of his boys under the foot-mat on this one. If you lack what to say, keep quiet.
1. How can you say Jonathan did not know. Is he that blind?
2. How can Okupe not get fired if all he does is do things without the approval of his Boss? Is he holding our President hostage of Jonathan is out rightly helpless?

As I said this is a self inflicted injury which is a result of clueless decision/strategy that was not well thought out. And it is not the first time either.

I think I first saw that hashtag on NTA some days ago.
The billboard is even along Airport Road, so I believe GEJ must have seen it.

The more you try to spin or rationalize this issue the sillier you appear, no offence. How can you compare Doyin Okupe who is known to all as an adviser to GEJ to a bunch of faceless individuals who are campaigning for GEJ's re-election for their selfish interests?

A word of advice: Take the prudent course of action when your hero does things that cannot be defended. In other words, zip your mouth.
