Nigeria, a diverse, multicultural and multiethnic land, is full of so many wise sayings and proverbs for virtually every situations. Here are a few: 1. If a snake doesn't behave like a snake, children would use it to tie firewood.. 1925 2. No matter how the wind blows, the iroko tree never bows down 3. A large chair doesn't make a king 4. A child that washes his hands clean eats with elders 5. In d kingdom of the blind, a one-eyed man is king 6. When elephants fights, its d grass dat suffers 7. There is no medicine to cure hatred 8. Rain can neva wash the leopard's spots 9. By crawling, a child learns to stand 10. When a child cries and points his hands, its either his parents are dere or the trouble.. 11.
