Arguments tend to lead to anger and though tough to do, I try to listen more during an argument which makes the other party calm down after talking too much.Also taking slow deep breaths and regular exercise generally help in controlling anger.

this isnt comprehensive if i must say...

if there's anything I have it is temper issues. I know what I have lost as a result of blurting out what's on my mind when angry. hopefully, I would apply this tips and see how it goes.
