Re: The Educative Game by Morenike3(f): 1:49am On Nov 09, 2008 |
H2O2:Lol, you're right. It's noncompetitive because that blue molecule did not bind itself to the enzyme's active site. It binds itself to another location on the enzyme. Which changes the shape of the active site, so the substrate (green) won't be able to bind to the enzyme. The molecule, in another word, denatures the enzyme. hmm, smart! |

A series of enzymes catalyze the reaction X-->Y--> Z-->A . Product A binds to the enzyme that converts X to Y at a position remote from its active site. This binding decreases the activity of the enzyme. In this example, substance X is A) coenzyme B) an allosteric inhibitor C) a substrate D) an intermediate E) the product |

those two are easy now. try the experiment question |
Re: The Educative Game by DavidDylan(m): 3:18am On Nov 09, 2008 |
H2O2: How? There are 3 blanks for instance, if you have 2 infront of glucose then you have 12 carbon atoms to account for on the left side of the equation. If u put 2 on both blanks on the right you only account for 6 carbon atoms. <<snip>> oops sorry, i figured it out now. 2;2 is correct. |
Re: The Educative Game by H2O2: 3:36am On Nov 09, 2008 |
