A bunch of cretins. The man who "did so well" in Ekiti must now be pushed out for creating polling units around the official voting population of Naija and its regions?

Ogogoro easily inspires!smiley

Rawani: Berem, can you suggest an alternative formula for PU allocation which will avoid over-crowding and the resultant dis-enfranchisement of registered voters? I am in need of a superior argument because I also agree that the present system gives the south an unfortunate handicap, and kindly share why you view allocation of more PU's to a more populated North as robbery.
If the southern part of Nigeria have 60000 polling unit while the north have 90000 (40:60) polling unit, does that correspond to our population ratio?. Also considering the fact that northerners have more children than southerners, what make you think the number of eligible voter in the north is more than south?.
As for me, I dont see any problem in the number of polling unit anywhere, what I only want is a free and fair election. The number of polling units doesnt give South any unfair advantage since we are not counting it but instead we are counting the votes.
The best excuse he should have given is the landmass instead of population. Nobody will be ready to trek to a far away place to vote on the election day.
