Is Cremation In Accordance To Our Religious Beliefs? by Tholuwaniey(m): 9:12pm On Sep 12, 2014 |
Cremating dead bodies seems to be cost effective, easier and really an ideal considering the stress people go through to bury their dead ones Now.. Is cremation according to the holy books? Is it biblical? or it is permitted in the Islamic hemisphere? Also Now that Lagos state government has permitted Cremation in Lagos state, Can you cremate those dead ones around?? Personal views will be highly appreciated! |

Cremation isn't exactly mentioned in the bible except of course those places where people were burnt to death or fire consumed them. However, since the present biblical interpretation of eternity for the evil people describes an unending lake of fire, that I think might suggest to us that God in a way had plans to cremate evil beings. It saves time and space and is of course more economical in times like this when it's more expensive to live that to die. Burial spots now cost as much as 200k regular and millions for VIP. |
