hi pls I need a candid advise, I like Camry SE 07/08, honda coupe 2008 I also like infinity fx 35, I have 1.5m and have been shown both cars, they are nigerian used but are highly maintained.I took my mechanic to check out the cars and they were ok like he said. I don't mind fuel consumption, if not I would choose the Camry so I want to ask
1.what are the like problems of the Camry SE 07/08, honda coupe 2008 and infinity fx 35
2.how much does gear cost because I heard that's a major problems of most cars in nigeria
3. Why isn't honda coupe 2008 and infinity fx 35 used in nigeria that much.

I wish other members who come to Car Talk to seek advice on cars to purchase will learn from the above post. Asking the right questions, rather than waiting for who will confuse them with the pros only.

I am not going to talk on the camry but as for the Fx35 it is very common it is just been faced out by Fx45 I stay at lagos and I see this car easily on the island not really common at ikoyi and other high brew areas.

The Honda coupe is targeted at young single successful guys all the ones have seen 90% is driven by young dudes and 10% by young babes. So tell me how many young single successful guys can you count in naija?

@Bolded, You're wrong nurey, the FX35 is the 3.5L V6 trim of the FX which was upgraded to a 3.7L V6 hence the FX now bears an FX37 badge.

While the FX45 is the V8 trim level of the FX which was upgraded to 5.0L V8 hence the FX now bears an FX50 badge.

other relevant info will be are you a family man or single if single go for the honda if you have a young family the camry

Infiniti fx is a geautiful car series, good for leisure though caranddriver.com says its better to lease than buy. The car has seriously cramped interior and though fun to drive you may want to strike it out of your options list (unless you have another ride to alternate it with).
As regards the other options let the camry and honda fans tell you more. Ensure you go online and make your own findings. Do not be discouraged by what you read as they may be a bit exagerated and such opinions only tell you what MAY be, which may not be your reality.

I guess my comment the 1st time was confusing so I refrain it

Please lomomike I have searched this thread for the nissan pathfinder 2005 to 2010 radiator bypass but I haven't seen much info about and it seems there is little info also online because I only read it affects the 2005 model year if you can provide a link or help shed more light on it. Thanks

thanks everyone, i get the point of honda coupe been a young champ kinda car, been two doors, i reason about that....but really i love the fx 35 or 45 because of the thickness and its comfy am just worried if it can be easily maintained like Toyota, i don't like camry 07 or 08 its every were like EOD and pencil lol and i notice a lotta people are selling off their 07/08 Toyota.
