JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will focus on both frontend and backend website development.
Your responsibilities will cover design brainstorming and documenting the goals and creative briefs of clients, creating and delivering the design concepts and taking the concepts through the production process to taking the website live online.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop stunning layouts, graphics, site navigation and user interface (UI) concepts for web applications. Ensure that content is easy to navigate.
Development of wireframes, visual mockups and design prototypes, to achieve the best user experience.
Writing and evaluating code (HTML, CSS, Jquery, PHP) to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Design creative and visually captivating logos, banners, websites, html email etc
Responsible for the typography, colour, images, design of beautiful and functional icons and other graphical artwork required for user interfaces.
Delivering front-end and back-end solutions for CMS platforms.
Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback
Implementing search engine optimisation strategies

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
A degree or diploma in a science course, engineering or related field
1-3 years work experience as Webmaster, Content Developer, web developer or related role
Excellent skills in Photoshop, illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and Corel draw
Experienced with JOOMLA(compulsory), WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS )
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies
Experience designing corporate logos, brochures, leaflets etc
High degree of integrity
Must be below 30 years of age
Must be resident in Port Harcourt
