If i were him i will go for biochemistry as labodinho said. In case he has any intention of goin further for medicine he can use biochem but not mls. And as a biochemist u have more job opportunities than a medical lab scientist. And also nuc and medical lab scientists havent come to a definite agreement. The past president just diffused the tension a little before he left.
