LAGOS State governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje has been described as a selfless person and the best person to occupy the governorship sit in 2015.

Speaking at a forum tagged, “Ndigbo operation go and register”, held recently in Lagos, Chairman Ndigbo in PDP Lagos State, Mr. Duru Polycarp said they were committed to the realisaton of the ambition because they were sure that he was the right person to liberate the state from what he called the present ‘political Ebola.’

“He is a leader who could bring the change Lagosians need. We believe he shares our ideology for renewal and reform. That`s why we are supporting the incredibly loved Jimi Agbaje because he represents a new face, a freshness.” he said.

Duru stated that the mandate of the group was to ensure that the party was united, and to also mobilise support for the party in the state ahead of the 2015 general elections.

“We have a mandate, our mandate is to work and ensure that the PDP in the state is better positioned to win the forth coming elections.”

“After a review of our political history in Lagos State, Ndigbo felt highly disappointed about the continued second fiddle position it had been consigned to. Demographic analysis shows that Ndigbo account for about, 60 per cent of the population of Lagos State while economically we control about 75 per cent of the state resources.

“This can automatically be translated into electoral victory to any governorship aspiration if properly harnessed,” he noted.

He regretted that Ndigbo hardly commanded a formidable influence in the polity, due to gross factionalisation and divide and rule tactics by forces outside the Igbo enclave both at the states and at the national level.

The chairman urged the group to be committed to the goals of the party and begin grassroots mobilisation of people ahead of the elections.

He promised to work with the state chairman of PDP, Tunji Shelle, and other state executive members of the party to help the PDP to win Lagos in 2015

Can't help but laugh.... If PDP dare try to that, then its gonna a straight win for APC. Yorubas are wise!
They can be given appointments... They do not need to contest.
If we aren't careful, once an igbo man is made the deputy governor, they won't stop there.

Infact they have 105% population of Lagos and control 110% of the resources.

Bunch of charlatans, that derived happiness in deceiving themselves. We have asked them severally, to give us an empirical facts and figures of their claim, they keep bandishing, in their attempts to make themselves happy, which from others perspective, it is a clear case of inferiority complex and delusion.

They will only give the facts and figures when Russia turns back to USSR.

With these,

They don't need to support Agbaje

Or

Ask for Deputy Governor.

They should field a candidate on the platform of any political party in Lagos, victory is assured.

...Jimi, beware of greeks bearing gifts...

...Ndigbo, at worst, any party you throw your purported 'weight' behind will lose...at best you'll be used and dumped. Either ways you still lose...and continue the whining cycle...

We all know what they say about empty barrels...If they have as much relevance as they claim, they should be sought after and not hop around whining and threatening. What exactly is stopping you from developing your home states?!!!!! Put your money where your mouth is... Make your region the economic capital of Nigeria and command respect from there...

In one sentence, igbos move in droves to Lagos.
In another sentence, Igbo population in Lagos is insignificant.

ibos troop into Lagos -FACT

.... But asserting that ibos constitute 60% of Lagos population is asinine ridiculous and preposterous.

One cant help but laugh at their Aba made statistics

ibos make up 60% of Lagos population; meaning other ethnic groups in Lagos e.g hausa, ijaw, calabar, idoma etc including foreigners (non nigerian) are 30% while the Yorubas are 10%

in other words, the Yorubas are now a minority group in Yorubaland.

This is what exposed their dubious statistics. They have 48% population of Lagos, mad control 98% of Lagos resources and

1. They are begging us for political post.
2. We closed their shops, they were begging us.
3. They were deported and they were crying like bush babies.
4. They don't have a single elective post.

Their statistics are as useless as them. We are waiting for them to use their moribund party APGA to contest and let us put their fallacy to test. Bunch of chaotic, unstructured charlatans without history, greedy and covetous people.

If they have 60% of the population, they shld bring it to test and field their own candidate. If 60% voted, they've won already.
