appreciate your efforts brother ...however i feel i need to update the house , i actually went for the call center agent interview and after what seemed like a routine question and answer session , i was told that i will be scheduled for training and i will have to pay a total of N53,000 for the training and exam after which i will be issued a diploma in telemarketing certificate and will be assisted to get a job. i told the lady i hadn't the money point blank.. she then asked to know how much i could manage to raise pending when i could make up the balance , i said 10k out of curiosity, she then asked how i intended to pay and i said atm (hoping to use that as an excuse to desert the place) and surprisingly she quipped " we have POS"!!!! ..i now began touching my pocket pretending to be searching for my wallets and then told her i hadn't my wallet with me and will have to go into a bank to get the cash ...and then she suggested she send someone with me so " you wont miss road"...... well i insisted i was fine and she then proceeded to take me on a tour around the building to see their facilities probably hoping to make an impression on me ... there was a room with about 20 peeps supposedly undergoing training by an indian man and another room with about 30 computers and that was that.

now unless am missing something here i kind of think its a bit odd to expect jobless applicants to cough up that sum for a training and there is no guaranty that a job will follow after such a training . so please anybody with superior information might wanna share. in my opinion i think they are a genuine TRAINING firm but they do not necessarily offer jobs so again if anyone has better information about this people kindly share

Main Purpose of Job

The British Deputy High Commission is looking to recruit an Immigration Liaison Assistant to work in the Risk & Liaison Overseas Network (RALON) office.
The Unit is part of the Home Office and provides intelligence and information support to the UK visa operation as well as being responsible for liaison and training airlines in Lagos.
The position is for an initial one year contract, and may be subject to renewal.

Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks including researching trends in visa applications, dealing with passengers referred to the BDHC by airlines and checking application details against confidential databases. Duties will include:
Report writing
Creating and maintaining databases
Provide administrative support to Lagos RALON ILM/O's on airport duties
Support ILM/O's when providing training to external partners
Liaising with external partners and analysing information to identify trends.
Support Visa Services by providing timely information and intelligence to improve decision making quality.
Indentify and research cases that merit further investigation

Skills / Experience / Qualifications
Essential on arrival:

Be able to work quickly and accurately often under pressure.

Good communication with excellent spoken and written English.
Computer literacy with accurate typing skills of at least 25 words per minute.

Previous experience of working within a visa section or other office environment is preferable and good keyboard skills and familiarity with computers and software packages (notably MS Word, Excel and straightforward databases) is essential for the role.
