Hi, i recently installed bluestacks app ( an android emulator on my laptop). While using it to whatsapp & surf the net i found out that its rate of data consuption is on the high side as most of the background apps automatically download their updates and other stuffs. I did check for where to disable such actions in the app settings but i didn't see any, i also googled solutions for such but i didn't get meaningful results. I would appreciate if anyone here knows a solution to such problem.
Pls i would also like to ask how i will close (singly) an app i no longer use when multiple apps are runing. Thanks and may God bless as you help a brother who does'nt have an android phone to fall back on.

My Broda the main tin dat consumes ur data when using bluestack is ur computer's background apps. not the bluestack. whenever u start using it, all other system apps gains internet access and run in background and some even start updating themselves automatically like ur antivirus software. anyway, u can still disable auto sync in ur bluestack app.

Yep, check for background apps updating itself e.g.
1. Windows update
2. Antivirus update
e.t.c

Try blocking them at the firewall level if that may help more
