Stanbic is 12.63% as at today. you guys shouldn't complain o.

Even stanbic has not reached 13% for the past 3 months and now but FBN and United Capital has been on 13.

yemkaf:

United Capital has dropped a little to 12.98% recently too

Hello MMF gurus,

I have some MMF investment with FBQ @ the rate of 12.95.
I want to know if any change in rate, (say 12.00 or 13.5) will affect the current rate.
In other words, is it fixed like TBill.

Secondly, can I top up the MMF or do I have to open a new MMF account if I intend to add more money.

Thank you guys

The rate is not fixed and you can top up your MMF investment anytime. You don't need to open a new account.

If you opened using fbn edge, you can top up through that means too. Did you open by completing a form? Then ask your account officer, the guy you have been communicating with during the account opening process.

If they have opened the account for you.

They would inform you on how to pay into the account.

Until then just keep calm.

Good afternoon ppl. I want to cash out some of my fund in stanbic ibtc, can I add a new account that has different account name from the name I use in running the mutual fund?

You sound nefarious. Why will you be asking such a question? Do you want to scam someone's mutual fund? Why should they allow you to cash out a mutual fund to another account, one not even in the name of the account holder.

It's just about 33 days now.

But I can withdraw both the accrued and the interest now

If you withdraw now, u will lose some percentage of ur accrued interest since ur fund is just 33days.

This new Stanbicibtc mmf top up system is really scary, did a top up which was successful, it's been two days now and value hasn't reflected.

Has anyone been able to top via Mobile App, Quickteller or websiteup after the two (2) business days rule?
