iamrichiefola: Dont ever pull out, thats one mistake you will regret, the funds assigned units to you at entry so whatever happens, your units are intact, once the price wakes up, you recover everything including interest if you are patient, if you exit now, you are selling those units less than you bought it, there is no chance of recovery. |

jpphilips: Thanks for your response. When you say detailed statement, do you mean the one they share when I use the “send to embassy” feature on their website as opposed to the statement I can print out from their page? |

It is just me or Stanbic MMF is not as competitive as before. Historically their interest rates are significantly lower compared to their competitors. In my books FBNQ MMF seems to be doing far better than them in all aspects. The link to check their current interest rate is not working, are they trying to hide it lol. If they are tired, I am not tired of moving. 1 Like |

Please how long does it take the fund managers to pay/distribute dividend on Mutual fund after the end of the quarter? |
Re: Mutual Funds by bfn1: 6:58pm On Oct 07, 2022 |
Standardguy:It varies by FM's. Usually a couple of days into the month following the completion of a quarter: January, April, July & October. For example, FBNQ and I think, SIAML both made their Q3 payments on 5th October. 4 Likes |

Hello friends, who has information about naira denominated fund that accepts funds in Naira? Which of the available and registered asset managers offers this type of fund? |
Re: Mutual Funds by yak(m): 10:42am On Oct 10, 2022 |
Standardguy: If the rate is fine, I wouldn't mind the delay. In fact I'm thinking of dividing my capital into 2 and run a 6 month comparison on 2 different platforms to see the difference in ROI |
Re: Mutual Funds by Standardguy(m): 9:13pm On Oct 10, 2022 |
yak: That's a good idea. What rate are you getting from Stanbic? |
