Chelsea’s workrate without the ball was spectacular
on their last league visit to Etihad Stadium, when
they won 1-0, and they will need to produce a
similar effort to keep the home side at bay this
weekend.
Dealing with the movement of Sergio Aguero will be
one of their primary concerns. Despite only starting
in two of the four opening matches, the Argentina, is capable of hurting Chelsea in
varying ways.
In 2014/15, I sense their tactics might not be quite
so restrictive. With playmaker Cesc Fabregas and
forward Diego Costa on board, Mourinho’s team
have fewer limitations. Boasting more creative
potential they have the confidence to be assertive
and control difficult matches in a manner they did
