Why Do We Kiss? by LIC3ion(m): 5:13pm On Sep 23, 2014 |
Humans have been kissing one another for thousands of years. But is smooching more science than art, more biological than poetry? Little wonder, Mae West said "A man's kiss is his signature". Kissing varies from romantic kiss, social kiss, the air kiss, affection kiss, familial ties to deep respect kiss. The ancient Romans were big on romantic kissing, but the Greeks viewed kissing as a way to pay homage or give social recognition. In Biblical times, washing and kissing another's feet was considered a gesture of humility and respect. Humans have been kissing for many reasons- for a very long time. But where did the custom come from and why exactly do we do it? Why are people attracted to the lips of other people?

Passionate kisses elevate your blood pressure and cause your heart to beat faster, getting you more excited as a result of several nerves in the lips Calm and gentle kiss is a good way of showing passionate love Kissing someone you love tastes awkwardly good And lastly, when you ask a woman a question and she lied, the next she's gonna do is give you a kiss...it's call "masking lie kiss* They all do it! 1 Like |

Tymax: Well I should think so. Maybe not in the way that we've modified it. Maybe they weren't so open about it either. Buh Ty, it's the 21st century bro. People change Things Change. One question, D'ya think our ancestors wore Jeans? Precolonial times? Why do we wear it now? 1 Like |
