At the StoryMoja festival held in Nairobi, Kenya last weekend, Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, was treated to a surprise in the form of a puppet built to look like him. The festival is an annual event that brings together literary minds and help them better appreciate their art and skills through a wide array of performances, debates, master classes, film screenings, exhibitions, book launches, concerts and provocative discussions. This year’s was attended by Soyinka, Clifton Gachagua, Teju Cole, Kwame Dawes and a host of others. More photos here 1 Share
