Hello guys, I just did a little DIY on my BIMA,it was leaking Oil and white smoke emerging from undernith the hood and bringing in nasty smell into the damn car
Tools needed
Ratchet
10mm Sucket
Degreaser
Pick Pin or nidle
and ofcos, New seals for both intake and out, so 2 big and 2 small O rings pics shortly

Vanos solonoid in car with leaks

Engine block cleaned n tidy free from oil

Vanos solonoids with 4 O rings

Before(dirty)and after foto(cleaned) of solonoids

Old seals(O rings)

On my to do list is changing the Oilfilter housing Unit gasket as thats leaking as well.Im waiting for it to be delivered

Mind you on this Foto,I have already taken off the Engine covers.

my 320i has that 'almost invisible leak' too. I know it leaks because I see dust/dirt clustered around the filter housing lid but no oil shortage...

Great stuff. Will be doing something similar on my Accord

Yeh its inevitable that the gasket would fail you got to change it when you can,I'm doing mine next week
