This is a New York Times Article of 1984
http://www.nytimes.com/1984/01/21/world/around-the-world-nigeria-says-it-recovers-millions-from-ex-aides.html

Ask for any other evidence and I will supply....

This is the word of an accuser (Idiagbon). He was merely trying to justify Buhari's coup and actions.

This proves nothing..

How about a statement from a more neutral person. Justice Uwaifo of the Supreme Court that headed his probe panel..

When the Military intervened accusing the NPN Government for Electoral Malpractices, a panel of investigation was set up then by the military but Dr. Alex Ekwueme remains the only one politician that left (The Supreme Court of Justice) Samuel Uwaifo Panel without any indictment which says “Dr. Ekwueme left office poor than he was when he entered it, and to ask more from him was to set a standard which even saint could not meet” perhaps the former Vice President continue working with loyalty to development and for the future of Great Nigeria.

This guy is really pathetic, I asked for evidence of where Ekwueme agreed to be currupt and you brought a NYT link of where Idiagbon was accusing Ekwueme of having money in his house. You sure do not know how rich Ekwueme was before joining politics. You sure do not also know of Justice Uwaifo panel verdict on Ekwueme. Go find it and read.

Buhari and Idiagbon couldnt even prove in the tribunal they set up that they found money in Ekwueme's house.

Nonetheless, if you did not get me:

Bring an evidence of where Ekwueme agreed to being corrupt as you have always claimed. The day you come up with the evidence is the day I will take you serious.

For now, you are just an APC e-leach.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu: The Strategist And The Achiever by barcanista
https://www.nairaland.com/1921341/bola-ahmed-tinubu-strategist-achiever

barcanista:
TINUBU THE FIRST
Asiwaju’s Administration was also one of the first to pursue Public-Private Partnership projects as a mechanism for infrastructure delivery against the backdrop of the inability of the public sector to solely fund the infrastructure needs of a modern Mega City. Perhaps the most far-reaching in this respect is the construction of the N44 billion Lekki-Epe Expressway and accompanying Coastal roads, which is the largest concessionairing project of its size and complexity in Africa.

HIS GREAT LEGACIES
One of the Tinubu Administration’s greatest legacies to posterity is the very sound financial pedestal on which she placed Lagos State. From a situation of near total dependence on statutory allocation from the Federation Account in 1999, the Administration had reduced the state’s reliance on allocations from the Federation Account to not more than 25 % by its exit from office in May 2007. As a result of sound management of the state’s finances, the Administration was able to pay salaries/emoluments totaling N180 billion to approximately 50,000 civil servants between 1999 and 2007; N70 billion as civil service operational running costs within the same period while also meeting its financial obligations to the state’s 15,000 civil service/teachers pensioners, 51,000 primary school teachers and local government workers and also promptly paying subventions to the 50 Parastatals including tertiary institutions in Lagos State. Not even the politically motivated seizure of over N24 billion of funds statutorily due to the Local Governments of Lagos State for over two years could destabilize the state financially or incapacitate the Local Governments from functioning in the interest of the grassroots; another indication of how rock solid the state’s finances were.

PROMINENT PROTEGES
The Incumbent performing Governors of Lagos State, Raji Fashola and his Osun Counterpart Engr. Olusoji Rauf Aregbesola were proteges of Asiwaju Tinubu. Aregbesola served as his Works Commissioner, while Fashola served as his Chief of Staff. The Current Minister of State for Defense and Fmr Nigeria's Ambassador to Ghana Senator Musliu Obanikoro was a member of Tinubu's cabinet where he served as the Commisioner for Home Affairs and Culture, after his impressive tenure as Chairman, Lagos Island Local Government.

CONTROVERSIES:
1. CERTIFICATE FORGERY SCANDAL:
In 1998, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi while filing INEC form on behalf of Bola Tinubu, entered that Tinubu attended University of Chicago between 1976 and 1979. Human Right Lawyer, Gani took Tinubu to court for certificate forgery and lying under oath... Findings reveals that The Mistake was from Afikuyomi but the Certificate submitted to INEC was that of Chicago State University and Not University of Chicago. The SC however struck out the case in June 2013.
2. ALLEGED CORRUPTION
EFCC Chairman Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in 2006 indicted Bola Tinubu for corruption, alleging that the Airtel Deal by Lagos State Government was not transparent. Tinubu submitted himself for scrutiny after leaving power in 2007. The same EFCC after much scrutiny, cleared Bola Tinubu of the allegation in 2009.
3. FOREIGN ACCOUNT OPERATION
According to the Law, it is illegal for a Public Servant to operate foreign account while in Power. Tinubu was dragged by the Code of Conduct Bureau for allegedly operating foreign account, the Code of Conduct Tribunal sitting in Abuja acquitted and Cleared Tinubu of all the Charges.
CRITICISM:
Many(myself included) criticized Tinubu for the manner two of his Deputies were impeached/resigned. However, no one is perfect. We all make mistakes. As at Today, one of his sacked Deputy, Otunba Femi Pedro is back in APC and has pledged his loyalty to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Today, the name Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu is associated with a political heavyweight, a mentor, father, brother and friend. However, it must be said that he is an astute performer, visionary and one of the best brains in Nigeria. Yes, Tinubu is also the Achiever.

God Bless the APC leader
