Righties use their left hand to shift the gear in right hand drive countries like Britain and SA. So it can't be different for lefties using their right hand to shift gears here.

The irony of it all is that most right handed young guys drive with left, myself inclusive, the only place I know I use my right or both hands is when am above 120km/hr on third mainland bridge.

no difference @ all. i picked a RHD bus for d 1st tym n i drove it from lagos to abeokuta. I drove @ high speed 120 km/hr n and never felt any issue.

As a rightie, when u v a sudden obstacle in d middle of ur road, u r more likely to swerve to ur right. Thereby there's the possibility of hitting a passersby.
As a leftie, u r more likely to swerve left as in d situation above thereby facing an oncoming vehicle which might result in a fatal accident.

I'm totally left handed! I do everything I'm supposed to do with one hand with my left hand and I haven't run into any problems so far. There is the occasional iidiot who is rude to me for using my left hand sha. but what difference does it make?? Why do we have two hands if we are supposed to use only one??
