Nigeria really disappointed Western countries when we defeated the Ebola Outbreak. What they hoped for was for Ebola to completely subdue Nigeria and ravage us to the point where they will get the opportunity to make nonsense of us and recolonize us one more. But God big pass them. Nigeria was able to contain Ebola Outbreak using old fashioned techniques without their overrated zmapp drugs. Now they're pretending to congratulate us and even considering coming over to learn how we did it? I smell conspiracy theory! The US is up to something. They can never be trusted. 2 Likes |

I know how Nigeria contained Ebola. Whether people believe it or not. Salt and Water is Holy Water to Christain especially Catholics . it is spiritual. It works Magic. Nigeria is not more immuned than Liberia. That singular blessing and ritual that was done by 80% of Nigeria the same time touched the heart of God. God is a NIgerian. Nigeria is God. 2 Likes |

WELL I THINK OUR HIGH IMMUNE SYSTEM ALSO HAD A ROLE IN THE RECOVERY OF SOME OF THE AFFECTED PATIENTS IN NIGERIA. BUT I FEAR FOR THE U.S.A, IF EFFECTIVE MEASURE ARE NOT TAKEN QUICKLY, THEY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR DEATHS FROM EBOLA BECAUSE I DOUBT IF THEIR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS AS STRONG AS THAT OF NIGERIANS. 2 Likes |

This story sounds so dodgy. I can't see why America needs to study how Nigeria dealt with ebola as America provided the guidelines used by Nigeria to handle it. Also why only Nigerian media carrying the news? Forgive my being so pessimistic, but with all the false news released from the government and media over ebola last few months, I don't believe this. 3 Likes |

When we asked the US for their Zmapp they refused us and said our Nano was a pesticide. Now they have buried their face in shame to come seek for knowledge on how Nigeria was able to curtailed EVD. I am suspecting this US people and I hope the US is not planning to import another strain of EVD to Nigeria. Please ban the plane from entering Nigeria and search their luggages thoroughly because these Americans can do anything to inflict pains in Nigeria. #RedFlagRaised 1 Like |

360command: Show me proof US teams arriving nigeria on advice on curtail of Ebola? This news by our newspaper na lie. Thanks..bloody lie. Only Nigeria media is carrying the news You guys have perfected the art of diverting your attention from the ills of your society. Focusing on America and zmapp and ignoring the incompetence of your health minister. Whilst Nigeria contained ebola it was not because you were so good or special but because it came in via one person sawyer which was picked up quickly. 2 Likes |

ceejayluv: And you can as well LEAVE this platform called Nairaland which was created by a NIGERIAN living IN NIGERIA and go and create your own forum where you can type all the crap you like and stop being a pest here. You worship USA yet you spend quite a lot of time on a Nigerian forum? So many confused morons on here. Its sickening! @Post I thought Americans know it all? They should administer their ZMAPP to any ebola-infected citizen of theirs. What are they waiting for? And Nigeria should screen Americans coming to Nigeria very well before they bring in yet another deadly virus which they have sat in their labs to create. Yes, I said it. I don't trust America. 1 Like |

I am glad to see that many of my fellow Nigerians of all tribes no longer trust the Americans, we should remember from history that oyibos can never be trusted, oyibos are blacks number 1 enemy and that will never change, we must aim to rise as the true giant of Africa to become the number 1 world super power and be fully self sufficient so when they want to fight and play silly games we can easily defeat them. In my opinion the only reason they wan come naija is to learn how their plan to kill us failed so they can find a new one. Be aware, the oyibos want wipe all blacks off the face of the planet. 1 Like |

Further proof the story is a lie. The CDC are confident of handling the case. They have been providing updates by tweet of the steps taken so if this news is only on nigerian media then it is propaganda. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/30/ebola-dallas-spreading-across-america [b]The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced on Tuesday evening that a patient undergoing treatment in the United States does, indeed, have the Ebola virus. Nearly two weeks ago, the traveler left Liberia, one of the West African countries at the center of the current Ebola outbreak, and flew back to Texas – asymptomatic at that point. This is key, because Ebola spreads when a person is exhibiting symptoms. At the time of that flight, the patient was not ill. And when the patient later reported to a hospital in Dallas, doctors there quickly suspected it was Ebola and put the patient into isolation. Those who came into contact since the patient’s arrival are being traced as a precaution and will be watched for symptoms for three weeks – the incubation period of the virus. Odds are good those contacts do not include you, and your odds of dying of Ebola in the US are lower than your chances of dying on a rollercoaster. 1 Like |

lrguru: otondo, here is what Donald J. Trump said on his tweeter page Donalt Trump is known to be anti-Obama. he hates everything about Obama and doesnt even believe Obama is American despite him relasing his birth certificate. I will not take what Trump says seriously. The US military have a very strong medical corps team and also the military is useful in mantaining order which the Liberan government has been strugling with. Also you forgot to mention that Trump has ben requesting for a ban of flights from all counties affected by Ebola which would have included Nigeria a fe wmonths ago. Also, he has faced lots of backlash from the American public over his tweets e.g. see below what he was saying abut Americans going to help in Liberia and S Leonne. Left to him America will close their borders and fold their amrs which thank God they haven't done becuase this is a global issue. "American magnate Donal Trump has sparked outrage after he publicly said doctors who are treating Ebola patients in Africa "must suffer consequences". Trump has been speaking about Ebola on Twitter since last weekend, when he slammed US leaders as "incompetent" for repatriating Americans who contract the virus while in Africa. In one of his most inflammatory tweets, Trump said: "The U.S. cannot allow EBOLA infected people back. People that go to far away places to help out are great – but must suffer the consequences!" He added: "They knew the risk when they went to Africa. They choose it freely." 1 Like |
