well not to sound callous but all you see here are just a product of some miracle software that renders everything with a click but even with that his designs lacks the 3 main aims of an architects design ie cost minimalization,safety and comfort ..plus they aren't a product of a trained mind..he still has a lot to learn and he better go for more training before trouble find its way to him.

well maybe you have o ask the man who actually drew them,he should know those as an architect or engineer maybe he chooses not to apply them on the models...however the teen is not mine so I can just start writing something different from its creation aims..so what am I saying? you should pm me if you wanna know and I'm no gonna ask you to pay for anything okay..

I'm wondering if you are the only one seeing what the other architects, engineers, builders and viewers on this form are not seeing. You are an engineer(as claimed) not even an architect. go through my trend before making some baseless notions of incompetence about me rather you should be busy going through these you call drawings and amending your mistakes besides maybe I will learn from this trend a building with new pillar patterns (lol)...

And what is that miracle software?? Computers are garbage in garbage out... Are you talking about Revit, Achicad, Microstation or 3dsmax? Even sketch-up which is one of the easiest to use still requires work to get anything good out. You have to do a lot of thinking on the design,build everything up on the system,export in some cases,create and assign materials,bring in objects,work on lighting,tweak settings,do trial renders etc before doing your final render and you are talking about "a click from a miracle software".

It is sure you do not know what you are talking about. By the way,your posts lack basic intelligence.Too many grammatical errors...Remove the log in your eyes so you can see clearly to remove the speck in your neighbour's eye.

Exactly what I am trying to systematically extract from him... but I did not get any response to that...
Then how do we see the faults if you know it and you cannot divulge the info?
I have not seen any Floor plan from SmartHomes but I like all his designs... Simple.
I will not have any problem or lose any sleep giving job to Smarthomes to design my house/project.

yes you will work for it too with the softwares but we can't deny the fact that it's become much more easier to work with than with the then AutoCAD where the 3d is way very difficult to model with but all the same it's all advancement in tech and I'm very optimistic that 5 yrs from now computers will really create a newer and much more easier way to construction in general....I wouldn't waste time replying the insults in your comment coz I know ur type on Nairaland...

His jobs are good. He did one of my designs and I love it. For the windows, it depends on the size of the rooms. for the pillers, he must have his reason depending on the building design. I am not an arch nor civil engr.

The assumption that we all have to build a house to fit into a certain niche shows an architect that is not in tune with his client.

I feel sorry for his clients. If any really exists.

These pilars are the same size.

If one is to remove the log from ones eye, one would see that it's an L shaped pillar.

It just looks like that due to the angle and color.

OP, thanks for making an L pilar and not the common square ones. It's shows initiative and breaking away from the mould.

My brother, I checked this thread from first page several times looking for the abnormalities but I could not find any with my lay man eyes.
That is more reason I gave the guy an opportunity to point out one of the SmartHomes design and dissect it.. but he did not.
I don't hate criticism but I need to see what we are criticizing... Thank you.
