To me, lock your phone and refuse giving me the password = to cheating or hiding something big, i don't know about other ladies belief. As far as am concerned, there is no privacy in marriage, the day you go through that phone, you must see more than indecency.


A man who isn't hiding something won't lock his phone and refuse you access. If he is your husband, i don't see any excuse that isn't lie on why he is locking his phone and won't give you access. There is no such privacy in the presence of true love.

There really is nothing wrong with putting a passcode on your phone, because it does restrict access to your information by third parties. But i believe of there really is nothing to hide both partied should have each other's codes or the should not have a problem unlocking their phones for their spouses to access it.

My dad has a passcode on his phone that the his family knows. Come to think of it, i actually use the same passcode as my dad on my phone

Either you trust your spouse or you don't.

If you do, you don't care about his phone.

If you don't, then there is something cooking or you are too mistrustful / jealous.

I talk to my friends on whatsapp. They share their sorrows and secrets with ME, why would my partner want to know them? Are they HIS friends or mine? Did they want to share their stories with him or with me?

I don't expect my partner to tell what his friends entrusted HIM. What kind of friend does so?

Having a Password or not shldnt be a big thing. what worries me however is when a man is too cautious with his phone and the wife is too curious about who her hubby communicates with.

Men lie, Women lie....

Women are naturally Snoopy. They usually put their noses where it doesn't belong. Its ok, its a cute albeit sometimes irritable habit and we love them for it.

Women also tend to misread things. A lot. They see a 'hello dear' and all hell breaks loose. They read a loose comment or lewd joke in a conversation with the boys and they start asking you to explain what you meant when you typed...etc, etc.

Finally, its my goddamned phone. I can do with it whatever I please. You don't find me snooping through your phone, why would you want to snoop through mine? But women can't help themselves and invariably their fingers start touching your phone despite themselves.



All these and more are reasons why guys lock their phones. The only girls av seen that lock their phones are those who keep porn and those who are trying to get back at thier guys for locking thiers.

Avoid high bp and unnecessary quarrels, boys. Lock your phones.

I'm not married though but I don't see reasons why I should give the code on my phone to my wife because we are married. The day she understands it is my phone the better.

If he was just a boyfriend, then, I would say there should be no real pressure since you two aren't married. Since he is a husband, he should be able to give you his passcode freely and you should be able to go through his phone whenever you chose. I know that most people keep lock codes on their phones just in case it gets stolen. However, there is threat of that occurring if he is at home. You are his wife and I don't believe that a husband should have secrets. Who cares if he has porn on his phone? You are not a child. It seems as though he has something to hide, but I hope that is not the reason.

I agree with the aspect that there should not be any form of privacy in love. But like i use to tell people and its basically what i do, i dont go about searching my husband phone because i want to live long.
