What beats my imagination is how Nigerians tend to predict scores like 3:1, 4:1 in favour of Nigeria before a match starts. I cant just help but wonder the last time Nigeria scored 4 goals in a match.
err... last year in the African Nations Cup against Mali (4-1) and against Tahiti at the Confederations Cup (6-1).

Monsiuer Keshi just had himself crucified. He chose his team. He designed it just as he wanted. He must accept every flak from football loving Nigerians and leave the post with immediate effect. There's no reason even to continue as he's yet to sign a new contract. To me, walking away is the only reasonable thing to do. Apology? Not even necessary.

A doomed dog will never heed the hunter's whistle. Let's thank him for the past and let him go. It's time to hire someone with sound knowledge of how football should be played.
This problem has been there long before Coach Keshi. Since the time of Lagerback and Vogtz. It will take dedication and time to get Super Eagles back to where they were.

How is Mikel overrated? He is the most abused player in the Super Eagles and he is the one that takes the fall even when he plays well. He is an excellent passed of the ball. Did you not see that amazing long ball he gave Emenike today that Emenike flopped.

Mikel does not play the holding role under Coach Keshi. Onazi does that. The point is that, just like the South African game, Mikel was the best player today. So tell me how he is overrated.
Bro to whom much is given much is expected if he doesnt play a holding role then what exactly does he play cuz he is definitely not a 10 igiebor was more of that I dont hold any grugde against the dude but he is just a fringe player and as long as he doesnt up his game thats all he will be he has won alot of laurels but we both know that as a footballer he can never be in the class of okocha, kanu, etim etc what Is working for him is just a lucky break because of an ego trip btwn ferguson n mourinho yes he has potential but the difference btwn good n great is personal effort .

Now all important question! Can Nigeria qualify for nations cup?

Read tomorrows papers, you will see the permutations...if congo wins SA......and sudan losses to Nigeria .....and Nigeria wins with 45 goals margin....

An unserious nation failing us all since becoming a republic in 1963....

Cool.. But, I'm pretty sure we've played nothing less than 20 matches between that time and now.

I believe d just exaggerated d statement.

A lot of pple are pissed tho.

He didn't help himself by his contract demands either

Nigeria and NFF shouldn't blame a coach they didn't employ, you can only blame your employee if he's not doing his job.

He was not employed

He was not gievn a target either, so whatever we are getting now, make we take am like that, sucks that we cant even do the right thing, employ a new coach if you don't want to give him a contract.

Simple!

Iheanacho's role has been changed by Coach Pellegrini and his crew. He is now a striker. Not a midfielder. In his U20 team, Coach Manu Garba has listed Nacho as a striker. So changing his role in the National team will affect his development.

If anyone should pave way for Nacho, it is Emenike. Ironically, my worst player on the pitch today.

While Spain was using Fabregas as a striker then, is he not paying a midfield role for his club All we needed is his creativity

I am not supporting Coach Keshi. I am just against false assumptions.

I try to see the problems in facing and watch the steps he takes to correct them. Like people criticising the invitation of Aaron Samuel. Or, Ikpeba criticising Coach Keshi for still building in two to three years, when it took Coach Westerhof five years.

I think Coach Keshi should go back to the possession football he used to play. I think the deviation from that style is affecting the team.

By the way, remember we were not flying high before the coach came. So the style of football then might not be a holy grail to success.

I said, changing Nacho's role in the National team will hinder his development. Fabregas is not a young player, switching his role will not hinder his development. He is already developed.

Nacho is still I under 20 and the coaches are developing him into a lethal striker. Any National team role should be to help his development as an attacker.
