The acting speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Barr Kwamoti Laori has debunked rumors making rounds over leadership tussle in the State House of Assembly. He clarified that the sacked former acting governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, remains the substantive speaker of the Assembly. Laori was the deputy speaker prior to Governor Murtala Nyako's impeachement. He explained that there was no contention with Fintiri over the speakership of the House.
