I noticed all the topics in family section have to do with dysfunctional family relationships. Anyone with ideas on what happens within a normal family setting as opposed to an abnormal one which seems to be the experience of majority of us here? |

What an Op,he/she took the first and second position.. Anyway, In a normal family setting,a good morning,good afternoon and good night is never questioned wether it is the right time because trust and unity are not strangers. Laughter and joy are dishes eaten every time. Divorce is not an option because Peace and amicable resolution of quarrels are the bedrock of such family. Hatered and suspicion are driven far away by trust and contentment. The fear of the housemaid seducing the man of the house is not known because the man is self controled and satisfied by the woman. A normal family is run by the head with toughness and discipline with regards to openess and spirit of accomodation. There is tolerance,respect and members of such household are admissive of one anothers faults. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Seems there is no such thing as a normal family, perhaps the west is right after all. All the stuff listed by you folks, are virtually non existent or impossible in today's world and most especially on nairaland. |
