THE WIFE MATERIAL




I really don't know who coined this phrase but the person is really funny.
Wife material is a phrase used by many now to mean a woman fit to be a wife.
 When a guy says "wife material" it usually means "you're qualified to be a wife" and I really don't know why I personally find it funny.
 Who measures these things?
What is the yardstick?
What qualifies a girl to be a wife material?
   In the course of this write up, I interviewed a few guys on the topic.

One guy said any girl that can cook is a wife material.
"Is that all?" I asked, clearly shocked.
He said yes. To him, any girl who can cook is wife material already.
What if she's ugly?
What if she has bad character?" I asked. He couldn't reply.
  I have a friend who prides himself on  knowing everything there is to know about women. I asked him his take on this topic.  He rattled off a list.
"Any girl who is beautiful, well mannered, can cook and gives good head is wife material" he said in all seriousness.

What is wrong with these guys? I asked myself. But then it hit me!
Different strokes for different folks!
Guys are all the same in a way but they want different things in a lady.
Like they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Some guys don't mind an ugly girl as long as she has good character.
Some wouldn't even come close to you if you're ugly.
Some don't mind your bad look and bad character as long as you can cook.
Some guys would stick with If you're good in bed.
Every guy has a different requirement.
  And so I'm a girl and I'm wondering how this thing works. How many yards is enough to be qualified a good wife material and which material exactly do these guys want?
Satin? Chiffon? Lace? Cotton? Nylon?
Which one exactly are we talking about here.
  Trust me; these questions keep we girls up at night.
So I'm reaching out to the population with the vagina, stop losing sleep over these. Stop Feeling like you're not good enough.
Most of these guys don't honestly know what they want.
Guys act according to their mood at the moment.
If he's so hungry and you prepare him the most fantastic meal he has ever had, trust me, you're wife material.
If he's feeling Hot and you give him mind blowing sex with great head at that moment, you're good.
 Some men just want beautiful women.  You don't have to be smart or hard working or even well mannered, just be beautiful...Trophy Wife!

So ladies, be the best you can be and don't try to change who you are.
You might not be this guy's idea of a wife material but there's definitely a guy out there who thinks you're the best quality.

There is the concept of "variability" among people...the measurement of which the values varies with individual...so your definition of wife material may be different to mine

Wife material is an African phrase..
So in the African mentality
I'd say any woman who can be a good General Manager of the home even in the absence of the home C.E.O(Husband).
