Help, System Did Not Recognize Flash Drive After Formating. by efeboy(m): 11:37am On Nov 12, 2008 |
Please can anybody help me out of this? My PC was recently reformatted with windows XP professional. Before it was reformatted, the OS was XP unlimited, until computer virus infected the system. Now that it was reformatted, the USB port of the system is not seeing my flash drive. That did not happen before. I tried the Computer Management panel, but the port were enabled. Please can anybody help me with suggestions? I'll appreciate it very much. Thanks and God bless in advance. |

Were you the one that formatted the Hard Drisk? or if you can access Device Manager yourself and check the USB if you can notice any YELLOW image beside the USB, it means that your USB port have NO DRIVER INSTALLED. But if you can't notice any yellow image beside USB in DEVICE MANAGER, you may also need to access the BIOS of your system to confirm whether your USB is enable or desable. Because, if your USB is set to desable in BIOS, your system will not recorgnize any USB device. May I even ask you, did your system recorgnize any other USB device apart from Flash Drive? If YES, please post your reply before any forther suggestion |
