One thing that remains clear is; Buhari's supporters are driven by true patriotism. Nobody gets a dime. But the other candidates?"

It is not Buhari's fault that your Progenitors, uncles, friends and yourself all refused to offer yourselves to salvage the country

As at today, there are over 30 political parties in Nigeria and i believe some of them will even offer you and all the aforementioned categories of people their Presidential tickets for FREE

So rather than rant about a man whose shoes you are not even fit to carry over his age,i urge you please go get one of the tickets since you are full of ideas and creativity and contest again Buhari and Jonathan
it takes developed minds to make a developed nation.no wonder nigeria is as it is when dazmen like you are pervalent in it

PDP are already shitting in their pants cos they know they'll be witnessing a mammoth crowd today, who came on their own volition unlike the paid or short-paid TAN.

in as much as i dont want gej or pdp for that matter to rule come 2015,i fear that buhari and apc arent nigerias saviour.the fact both of them refused to compromise knowing the fiseable bloodbath and ethnic tension their inability to do so would ignite highlights their selfish-individualistic lust for power. My hopes where high when apc was formed but ,as months wentby i watched as the same vices which corrupted pdp decamped to it thereupon they where baptised as wise good men and all their discrepancies laid at the door of gej-i read statements coming from men i considered elders and found lies strewn throughout it which, they made no effort to hide.my prayer is that ohaneze ndi igbo and all other igbo groups remain neutral not censoring any group or persön leaving the individual igbo man to vote for where his interest is best served.i also pray that a specific ethnic group in the north which enjoys venting out violent manifestiön of jealousy in response to his problem on the igboman, behaves better than the cows he deligently tends.

"There are two set of people against Gen Buhari, the old thieves and the young fools".

I hope we will start seeing things the way they are.

Other than criticize the govt, what does Buhari do for Nigerians.
2011 was GEJ V BUHARI V ATIKU (primaries).
2015 is GEJ V BUHARI V ATIKU.
This shows the rate at which Nigeria develops leaders. Progressives indeed.

In 1991, I was 8yrs old, and in primary 6, I was taught by my class teacher Mr. Lasisi that the immediate past president of Nigeria is Gen Muhammadu Buhari, today, 23yrs later, I'm telling my 6yr old son now also in primary school that the next president of Nigeria is probably going to be Gen Muhammadu Buhari. My question is; Dosnt Buhari have a son who should have taken after his father, and capable of rebuilding Nigeria to the taste of his father?...or must it be the old man himself?

6 Reasons Why You Should Avoid Buhari Like Ebola Virus

1. Violence

He makes provocative statements that are capable of putting the country in crisis. This attitude caused the death of hundreds of innocent lives after the 2011 elections where about 10 youth corps were also murdered in cold blood. 2015 is not here, but he has already promised "dogs and baboon..." Compare this with the US election where Romney wasted no time to congratulate Pres. Obama or the Australian election where the incumbent, Rudd lost and quickly congratulated Abbott. A great leader should always place national interest above personal ambition.

2. Bigotry

He's intolerant of any idea other than his own, especially on religion, politics, or race. No wonder he doesn't criticize anything that concerns his religion, no matter how bad. Hence, his obvious sympathy to B'Haram. A good leader should have listening ears, take a stand on what is good but also allow people to air their views and be entitled to their opinions.

3. Principle

He's not a man of principle, that is why he has been jumping from one party to another, even aligning with known corrupt elements in the hope of actualizing his presidential ambition. Great leaders don't do this. They always stick with like-minds, no matter the situation.

4. Lack of Democratic Features

Though, his admirers want us to believe that he was invited to lead after the coup but the fact is that he wasn't the most senior office at that time. Nevertheless, we've not forgotten the obnoxious Decree 4 - against which truth was no defence. He used this to jail journalists and attempt to cow the whole media. He did not also make any plan to organize election and handover to a democratic govt.

5. Tribalism

The lopsided execution of PTF projects which was 74% and 26% (according to PTF Situation Report, Vol 2, 98) in the north and south respectively showed his tribalistic nature. The dumping of Dr. Alex Ekwueme in Kirikiri maximum prison and Shagari placed under house arrest was beyond tribalism.

6. His 2-year reign as a Head of State left no legacy

Buhari's 2-year iron-fist rule left no legacy in Nigeria. There is nothing we can point at now that was established by his govt. Or should we call the cancellation of Lagos monorail as his legacy after-all Nigeria till date has no monorail?

Lets end this part 1 with the quote of October 4, 2010: "Buhari is perpetually un-electable because of his insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known." - Mallam Nasir el-Rufai

The ability to make the right choice despite sentiments attached to tribalism and religion, is a function of the maturity of the mind.
