“Adaeze” Lady D yelled. Chief Thompson looked at her in amazement. He was not sure what was going on but he knew that Lady D could go from looking seemingly calm to going crazy and I am sure he couldn’t tell which of her sides had just come out. I held my breath as I heard Adaeze’s bedroom door open, I crouched close to the staircase so she wouldn’t see me, Adaeze was the witch of the house who seemed to appear when she was not called and intervened in matters that did not concern her.

A few weeks after the incident with Adaeze, chief Thompson and her mom. Things changed a little bit. Adaeze was a little hostile towards her mother and it also made matters worse for me. She always found something wrong with anything and also everything i did. Ogochukwu came home for the weekend and noticed the hostile environment. When Adaeze went to the movies with her crazy friends Ginika and Lucy, Ogochukwu came to me

I was taken aback by what i had just heard, was this man professing "like" to me. I looked at him, apart from poverty, we were not of the same social standing in any way.
"Thank you" was all i managed to say
"No be just thank you matter, i really like you" he said with a smile. I didn't want to start trying to figure out what he meant by liking me.
"Okay Sunday, i have heard" i told him. It was the best way to end awkward conversations without getting into arguments....................................

"Nothing ma" I said as I put my hands nervously behind back.
"Nothing" she repeated and gave me unfriendly look.

I wish it could be longer but dont worry, it is a series so you have a lot to read, even i myself after reading it a few hours later i knew i would get the backlash for it, the update is a full two pages on a notepad. Lol

Hello Everyone
The first 20 parts has been condensed into a book and is no longer available on my blog links. The old parts, the first 20 wont be available once again on the blog until March 17 2016. Meanwhile i will continue updating the series on the blog and here on Nairaland. You all motivate me when you read my stories and also criticize me.
