we need to clap for you, you're smart. Dude, try to reason please

The third class student is not a mediocre, put that at the back of your empty head. Wole Soyinka and Gani Fawehinmi (RIP) were both third class students if you dont know and they never resorted to 'gadfatherism and favouritism' and they were the best in their chosen paths. Everything is not about politics, government and office politics, sometime you have to craft a niche for yourself and excel there, and you need no grades to do that.

For the records, I was never a third class student, but third class student are not less smarter than the first class student, only an idiot like you believe third class students are lazy, some might be-but not all. In fact, most of the genius/CEOs are not even graduates; IN as much as school is important, inasmuch as good grades are important, DONT EVER JUDGE ANYBODY BY THE CLASS OF THEIR DEGREE. Now you can go back, dust your WASSCE and continue with your studies, thou fo0l!

Unfortunately you showed you are not in tune with reality. Wole soyinka has refuted that claim. He said he was a second class upper graduate. Google it you might find it - part of the half education I talked about. Secondly I didn't say third class can't make it but they need to look back, find out what they didn't do right and work hard to put things right. That was what people like Gani did. Check out the awards he won later in his career. However, whether you want to accept it or not, it takes some complacency, carelessness or call it mediocrity to arrive first at a third class. Further your assumption that I am an SSCE candidate concluded that you are olodo and a fool you really are. I might be old enough to be you father and as per my claim that you are a third class student, your logic and thinking do not put you above that level. You need to work hard to justify you didn't cheat your way through school

If u had respect For your own father, u won't go as far as calling someone else's father a useless man, worst of all, a sitting president. You probably have a poor home training and mentoring from useless parents. I rest my case.

@ seun and his incompetent moderators, if u keep allowing little kids to use this platform as an avenue for insulting and maligning leaders and public officials, then you can be rest assured that you have a case to answer with the security agencies very soon.

STFU you are bound to be insulted if u fail as a "public" officer. The word public is quoted, your primary assignment is to serve the public right else you will have a taste of what you do. The only weapon Nigerians have to insults, it could be worse if it was in some other countries. Obama is constantly been insulted tho the daft tops the list

Are you in Nigeria at all ?

Certainly GEJ cannot take credit for it because it was Nigerians and not Fashola or GEJ that stopped Ebola.

Even conductor dey carry sanitizers, do you think that is Fashola's doing ?
Imagine APC, liars claiming credit for ebola when majority of Nigerians were well informed and guided by FG abt the disease. APC always playing politise with their own mentality not Nigerians...... Soon they will claim na them end boko haram... APC is just a party for the media..

For your information, Amaechi had a third class. Check out the facts and stop being emotional and childish about it. In a serious clime/nation, he won't be consider for his current position. These things only happen in a country like ours with majority thinking upside down like you. So sad but it is the truth. Live with it. Bye grin

Exactly did this daft and incompetent man did to curb Ebola in Nigeria?

The useless man lied to us back in April that the FG was ready for ebola with ebola vaccine that doesn't exist, they let Sawyer into Nigeria with ebola, Lagos state funded the whole effort in Lagos with Lagos taxpayers money while the clowns were running around lying about releasing N200 million that didn't show us till the whole thing was over.

Ebola entered Nigeria in July and the daft I don't give a damn worthless loser didn't release the money till September, that was months after the Lagos state house of assembly released money for Fashola to build isolation units and fight ebola which he did successfully..

Just like Amaechi said, If we were waiting for that N200 million, Ebola would have spread all over the country.

This worthless and incompetent clown really need to STFU sometimes..

So why should the governors have sat down and waited for the president to release funds before they fought Ebola? Don't they get allocation from the FG any longer?
All the primary and secondary contacts of Sawyer were isolated, and some quarantined. Only his primary contacts died. As for the contact tracing which was the main effort that stopped Ebola spread, it was handled jointly by FG and the 2 state govts. The building and equipping of the isolation centres was only effective in saving those that survived, and not in preventing Ebola spread.
I still don't understand you APC members. Why does the president take the blame for breakdown of security in Northeastern states, but should not take the commendation for victory over Ebola? Are there no governors in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe? Please can you give me a good answer to this question?

Lagos state government was very swift in sensitizing not only Lagosians but the country at large.

Most of us do not know what we want. I assume most nairalanders are youths and it is appalling to see us divided among party lines instead of galvanizing to press home our common interests that will engender a better future. Under our watch they impose candidates on us under the guise of consensus. That arrangement and a lot like it is what are what we should rise and protest vehemently about. 30 years ago Buhari was a military dictator who came through coup de ter and today he is an aspirant of a system he truncated years ego. What an irony?

You are right. seriously, sometimes I fear for the future because of the orientation of our youth this days. some here on nairaland lack the ability to discern information before reacting to them. They follow political parties blindly without thinking that these parties do not fight the other opposition for the good of the common man.To you APC AND PDP suppoters, how many times has your party ever criticize the other party and the system of the outrageous salaries and benfitit they collect on a monthly basis? How many times has other APC members call for the reversal of the huge pension benefit for all Lagos state governors and their families that they will get after they leave office?. That was why they were silent over Governor Akpabio Pension benefit which was later reverse because APC is guilty of the same thing. Thirdly, we have been shouting and calling on our legislatures and other government officials to cut down on their huge salaries and allowances, how many times has the APC party launch out to criticize this issue since they are very good in Criticize almost everything. They will remain silent over this because they are also benefiting from the rot and corrupt practices in this areas but would cry to the high heaven for trivial things that are of no benefit to the citizens. Yet, some ignorant youth will be here supporting them and even ready to die for them. You GUYS better think of what you are doing right now and start realizing that APC and PDP are the same thing. They are partners in crime when its time for money sharing since together they at peace with the wrong outrageous policy that allows them to collect urge salaries , allowances and pensions at the expense of the Nigerian citizens but are enemies outside this areas.
My fellow youth Open you eyes and stop mortgaging your future and that our our children for a cheap pot of porridge.
cudnt agree more...even d ones with degree are nt educated! Almost 30% of our budget goes into recurent expd...its so sad realy very sad, yet our youths will come NL and say tinz dat are disheartenin

Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan, on Thursday said neither he nor any governor in the country can claim the credit for winning the war against Ebola.
Rivers and Lagos are the two Nigerian states hit by the Ebola outbreak.
The federal government said the two states are now free of the deadly virus.
According to Mr. Jonathan, the government could not have succeeded in ridding the country of Ebola virus without the cooperation of the Nigerian masses.

Is it that Premium Times have problems with understanding English or they were simply being MISCHIEVOUS.
Jonathan clearly said no one but ALL the people of Nigeria should take credit for the success.

Yet many commentators (like the ones below) have run their mouth without having ANY real clue about what our president said shocked

egift:
Jonathan is trying very hard to reap where he did not sow. What a shame. Since there is nothing to support his interest, he is asking for neutrality as if Ebola just walked away on its own.

This Clueless Leadership must be voted out.

Code213:
Now, this is embarrassing for a President! Rather than drag bragging ryts with small small boys like Amaechi n Fashola, he should find his voice at the World stage among the likes of Putin, Merkel, Obama etc

N/B: What exactly did Rotimi Amaechi do with 1.4 billion naira? undecided
Amaechi is wasteful I swear! Too wasteful for my liking.

aderonila18:
He should just shut up about this issue, he should just appreciate everyone who played a part and move on. It's not every issue e should try to use to score cheap political points

WIZGUY69:
credit should be given to the governors of the states that curb Ebola. I disagree with jona. on this.
