There is indeed a very thin line between Political Rally & Political Campaign. According to the Electoral Act, Political Parties are only allowed to commence campaign 3 months to the elections. Can't the different rallies been held by the Political Parties and their supporters be also termed campaigns? According to the electoral act, where lies the demarcations if there is any atall? Are the Politicians taking advantage of the lacuna and seems like INEC is caged? |
