condoms are not 100% safe. agreed. but theyre 90% safe. being faithful to a partner isnt safe either cos ur partner just might not be faithful. and AIDS isnt transmitted only through sex. for a sexually active person (most of us are according to statistics) condoms are the best option.

the only reason y AIDS is so bad in Africa is because Africans dont use condoms, think, are we more sexually active than Americans and Europeans?, i think not.
