Re: What Have You Done For Nigeria? by naijadiva2(f): 6:01pm On Aug 07, 2006
well for those who are not aware. we do have like tribal meetings in america about once a month. they talk and discuss ways to improve not only the country but africa as a whole. and the donate money to nigeria. after the money gets sent of, its ya''ll business as to what ya'll wanna do with the money. so don't think that africans in america are doing nothing. they are trying their best.
Re: What Have You Done For Nigeria? by mamaput(f): 7:16pm On Aug 07, 2006
The good i did for Nigeria is to run away as fast as my legs could carry me.

Yo Madam Obj : Tell us what you have done for Nigeria.
I mean apart from maybe beating up little kids and visiting them in their dreams
Re: What Have You Done For Nigeria? by kimba(m): 10:32pm On Aug 07, 2006
@O-B-J
Who is the woman that gave birth and back to you? Which OBJ family circle are you in? My name is Kimba, and I'm from Circle 001. I'm asking these questions because the your profile pic and mine look the same, its just that mine is more human-looking than yours. I just wanted to ask what is your "degree of deviation from the true OBJ genes"

@Damsal
Could you actually do something for someone/something u hate.
Ok, fine, everyone has his own opinion. DO you mind, tell me why you hate Nigeria? Has Nigeria offended you or are you pissed because you are a Nigerian or at least related to it?

@LiquidMind
I  breed a generation of 419er.   And send them all over the world to bring back our wealth

That is what have done for Nigeria,
Anything you say can be used against you!!!

@Kenshin

I guess we should not complain or get angry when the foreign media publish unfavourable stories about nigeria, if we don't see anything good in ourselves, what do we expect others to see?

You don't need to get to a position of authority before you can make a difference. If as an ordinary individual your disposition is indifference then you can't do anything if you get to a position of authority.

You need to have a mindset that believes in the future of Nigeria as a nation, without that we are just a collection of tribes and ethnic groups who just happened to be grouped together as a country
Thank you o, please tell them again!

@Yemstar
topic,  what did i do for my country? easy i left
yeah rite!!!

Obj before u start talkin did u do anything for Nigeria? U quote kennedy like u were there when he gave the speech. The difference between america and Nigeria is the american government cares for its people while Nigerian government cares for their pocket. So its pretty difficult to build loyalty for such a place
Easy, Yemstar, There is no government without people. The people are actually the government. The difference between America and Nigeria is that Americans care for Americans, while Nigerians don't give a F about their fellow Nigerians.

@Dondele, @O-B-J
while your pour those curses online through your keyboard, just make sure it doesnt get destroyed!!

@O-B-J
they started it

nobody plays with obasanjo. nobody!!!!!!!!

i am the strong leader of nigeria.
As I said, i do not think you are a true member of the family circle. True OBJ clans educated on the Otta Farm Faculty of Science don't curse. We take everything with a grain of salt, a bowl of water while we douse the tension with a smile.

Peace!!!

Kimba
We all know that is true but the trait came from higher power which is the Government. When people that rule a country worry more about their pockets than about their people won't the people want to fend for themselves since the government doesn't give a f^ck  undecided

Its called Follow the leader sickness, when the government begins to care for its people, that will give the people incentive to give a damn.

Since you are pro OBJ show me how he has cared for the people in power the past hundred years he's been there tongue
Re: What Have You Done For Nigeria? by kenshin(m): 12:50am On Aug 08, 2006
I think the question we need to ask now is ;What are we going to do for Nigeria?

kimba:

This is very true in more ways than one. The people who are looting us and stealing money did not come from mars. They come from our culture, and grew up in the same country. While we may criticize, we should also ask ourselves how many of Nigeria's population will actually get in power and NOT turn corrupt and loot the same way their predecessors have. I think we need to start looking at our culture. Corruption has become the order of the day. Every where you go, before you can do anything, you must bribe somebody.

@Kimba
I don't hate Nigeria, i never said i did. (actually the topic has presently been sligthly changed i replied in refernce to the initial topic)
Nigeria has done me no wrong and so taking offence to it would be, inconsiderate. I am proud to be Nigeria. Can't actually admit to having done anything profitable for it but i have also never done anything of great demise for it so it's more of a 50/50 share.
