Re: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by davide470(m): 9:49am On Nov 24, 2015 |
dajaysnr:It is a test. Suit is not needed. Casual is more like it |
Re: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by amicable09(f): 9:55am On Nov 24, 2015 |
dajaysnr:If the test is for 10a.m then you should be dressed and at the venue already. However, if you are still at home still turning and overturning your ghana must go or box, then wear something neat and decent, something that resembles what the people in Access Bank wear. You are not a suit person and you want to work in a bank! Please, just buy yourself one nice piece of suit if you want to share your testimony this week because you won't show up for an interview in a bank without one. And good luck in your test, I await your good news 1 Like |

amicable09: Lol amicable09 i think that's the best part of your advice Now which advice would he take now ehn? Davide470 says casual...amicable says he should go to the market to buy the suit and then come back to escort those that have finished writing the test. dajaysnr...my own advice - just sha ensure that u don't miss the test or get penalized for coming late. Get the job - that's the main thing. I don't really know but if it were me though, I'd wear a suit to avoid stories that touch. |

Jazmiynne:lol... jazminynne don't make me laugh too hard o, my ribs! Ok, when I said he should buy a suit, I meant after this test because that's what he'll need for the next stage. You know we all can't wait to hear he came back a success. |

dajaysnr: Since it is a test, casual would fly but brother, if you are really looking for a job, you should buy a suit. Very soon you would be attending interviews and you wouldn't want to go in jeans and shirt. You don't have to buy an 80 thousand naira suit like Therealadonye. He is a boss. Just one good suit that you can dry clean for interviews is okay. All the best. 1 Like |
Re: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by amicable09(f): 5:15pm On Nov 24, 2015 |
tollyB:Hi B, go ahead and apply. Back your application with a strong convincing cover letter, make them believe you can do better than their 'preference' and still stand out if given an opportunity. And if after doing that you are not considered for the job, don't stop applying to other companies. BTW read your diary, thanks for the mention. will put in my heart your kind words and commit to memory as well the advice. Thanks. |
