This is rather stale and now redundant. The real deal lies outside of Nairaland. I am not interested in e-polls, as it only massages the ego of a few. 2 Likes |

Seun: I don't think this is redundant. visitors to Nairaland are unique from visitors in SaharaReporters or Build up Nigeria. I think Nairaland has a more even mix. If anything, this data would help make Nairaland a good or bad predictor of on-the-ground politics after the poll, and in the future, politicians like myself and others would pay attention to any poll like this on Nairaland. That is why politicians in the US pay attention to numerous polls to gauge the direction of the elections. By putting this on the Frontpage, you are contributing your quota in promoting and developing democracy in Nigeria. -CramJones 12 Likes |

@op. I think its time to take the battle from online to reality. We should be working on mobilizing people to vote. I make it a point of duty to talk at least a person a day...(Just like Jehovahs witnesses). You'll find out how ignorant the real voters are. We need to educated them. The good thing is most of them can't point out a single thing they've achieved from this administration. 1 Like 1 Share |

ba7man: We do it both ways, and there is absolutely no harm in doing so! I am surprised Seun says this is redundant. The fact that Nairaland is number one site in Nigeria does not mean they won't care for things that would drive real and educated traffic. Not topics like "who has the biggest butt" or "is my girlfriend cheating on me." I don't mean to criticize Nairaland, but for you to water down a very important topic like this to guage your visitors opinion is beyond me. There is absolutely no scintilla of redundancy in a Nairaland online poll. -CramJones |

cramjones:there are about five threads similar to yours and Buhari always win the polls. I can see Jonathanians wants to rig in your own thread and declare him winner. Reno Omockery's online poll comes to mind. This thread should be closed to avoid rigging by the saTANists. 10 Likes |
