Its all depends on d agency or parastatal u work with .....My parastatal pays well....If u wana enjoy workin with d FG work with a parastatal dat has gud allowance package......I won't advise any one to work in d ministry because dia salary is peanut....My salary I earn wit d parastatal I work with is time 2 higher dan my friends salary workin in a ministry and both of us are FG workers hahaha

Fed .Ministries dont pay well just a little above 50k,some with no allowance at all.

he is telling lies. asst. mgr in CBN takes well above 250k excluding productivity allowance every December that will not be less than 2.5m or more.

There's nothing to look into here. Most of the parastatals generate their own funds in which they use in paying their staff while most ministries depend on the FG for funds which is limited.

FRSC, NCC, NNPC e.t.c are all revenue generating agencies. Let's take two examples of how funds are generated with the above listed agencies :
1. FRSC: Driver's License, Plate numbers, Traffice offenders e.t.c

2. NCC: Fines paid by defaulting Telecomms companies, Radio station frequency allocations e.t.c and some other communication stuffs I am not even aware of.

CBN : Supervisor (level basic salary is like 80k + something around 40k (food allowance) monthly (10k a week) thus like 120k monthly therefore like 1.4m annually but they are give somewhere 1.6m annually as allowances ( productive, rent, medical etc) depending on location and department thus around 3 million annually
NDIC : Assistant manager (level basic salary is like 150k monthly (1.8 annually) with like 2.8 allowance annually thus around 4.6 million annually
DMO : Assistant manager (level i can't remember monthly take home but annually is around 5 million.

All ministeries : (level before tax and other deduction is between 70-80

Public complaints commission pays 67k after deductions. Federal ministry Of justice pays 59k after deductions.
