I can never buy anything Tecno in my Life again.. I bought Tecno N7 on may 5 2013, and from the 1st week it started misbehaving.. From the 1st week, I was drying it in the Sun.. It wont work Until U heat it Up, and it dint fall inside water.. and U cant press it if you are charging.. Mehn, The phone can iron ur clothe, after working for 30minutes on 3G at 100% full ba3.. and to think of it, I bought it 36k then..

I went to their customer's care at Ibadan and Lagos but to no Avail..

Guy, there is huge difference between sales volume and brand quality. I am talking about user experience here. Good marketing can sell my poo to you at the rate equivalent to your 1 month salary.



That's the phone posting my comments. You'll understand my language better than those who never tasted both sides. I used Samsung up to Galaxy S4 before resigning to what I consider as better option.



1. You forgot to mention the model. Of course you won't get all you want in all HTC phones, and same apply to every phone brand. I cant buy a Samsung R220 and expect it to impress me in 2014.
2. You forgot to compare your experience with Samsung
3. When comparing, remember that cost is a major factor. Compare a N10k Samsung with a N10k HTC, and N100k Samsung with N100k HTC. And not forgetting, Techno of N10k and N100k respectively.

The crowd at Calcare main office in Lagos is no joke! Hmmm, recall I have been there and I can tell it was a hell of sort!! The agents seem to be doing their best, but it is obvious that Tecno has more much interest in selling of their phones than giving quality after sales support. They may end up offering a kind of solution but then, they may have stressed the hell out of you.

People should wary this issue and Tecno must sit up to sustain the goodwill they have or sit down and lose to their competitors.

If it's still within waranty, you may want to check their office and see how it goes.

I have gone like 5 times and the phone has not been fixed and the final say now there is no board for now. it sounds so funny to me and come to think of it, i gave out all the back up phones i can manage when i bought the phone. o ma seeeeeeeeee oooo

I am really frustrated right now that i dont know what to do again other than to buy another phone( looking at samsung Grand) when there is no money .

@op, my experience with quite carlcare was the opposite. I enjoyed excellent customers service and a satisfactory one too despite the crowd.
Mine was newly bought too and had a censor fault. I was told repairs depend on the availability of the parts. I was lucky and I waited to collect it fixed same day. The lady told me it could have taken to a week or 2, had it been a new censor was not available. But I was ready for that.
I did not pay a dime.

In your own case, I do not see how Carlcare is at fault here. Where did you buy the phone from? That's the real issue.

And why do u keep going there when you have not been contacted to come?

To me, its just one of those life experiences one goes through once in a while. In such cases, you need a lot of patience, faith and optimism without much castigation and regrets.

Tecnos care is rabbish. Gionee has a care agent in every city they hav a dealer. But tecno wil keep ur phone for months cos every problem is taken to lag or ph.
