I was really hoping to see the prodigious Arsenal kids face Man Utd lads but ooooops, dream is over now.
It's a failed project in that, many of these players would be shipped out.

I think there was hunger and desire, but we were STRANGELY one dimensional in the second half, virtually ALL attacks came from the right wing, and almost none from the left. I wonder why?

I am sad for a few players, the kid who played CB would've been a bit saddened by their performance, Silvestre didn't even contribute to the game as well as he should've.

Some of them will not survive, as with every crop of youngsters - some will go to lower clubs, some will not make it in top flight football. That's how the game goes - you can't get 100% success with any crop of young players.

RVP played in this tournament, Fabregas played in this tournament, Eduardo played the CC, Clichy and even Walcott

None of these you mentioned came from your youth set up.

Arsenal did EVERYTHING well but their execution in the final third.
Chances were created throughout. . . . .I cannot count the number of times Bendtner was one on one with the Burnley goalie and he missed.
U cannot WIN games when u miss glaring chances like that. I thunk Bendtner was a premiership player. . . . .
Did u see how the Burnley dude scored the 2nd goal?? Outside of his foot and he bent it round. . . .That was a smart finish.

I was expecting this knee-jerk medicine after death reaction from some where tonite.With the way players are been shipped to the Lewin's section of emirate in recent times,there was no point risking any of the so-called experienced player tonite.What if any cupped any injury again tonite?Were these same experienced players not on the field when we were ful[/b]ly [b]ham[/b]med,[b]st[/b]r[b]oked,[b]hull[/b]ified and even [b]villi[/b]fied @ the emirate.This kinda game is good for experiences and the young 'uns will learn from it.But for lost chances,the game would have been over before it even started.

I don't know why there's so much cry about bendtner now after all, all he did last night was demonstrate what a lot of us already knew; that he isnt arsenal material. I am disappointed in Bendtner too - but I will not write him off yet. He's had a bad stretch of game with poor finishing, but I still believe he has quality to make it at Arsenal
