Well, Kim Kardashian took that rule to a whole new level as she partied in Las Vegas in one of the most plunging dresses ever made.
Showing off almost all of her boobs, the star looked stunning in the white skintight dress - risking a nipple slip the whole time.
But it's Kim, so obviously that didn't happen.
Smiling widely at the Tao Nightclub inside Venetian Hotel & Casino, Kim stole the show and kept her hair sleek and straight - letting the barely-there dress make a statement on its own.

Kim was glowing as she smiled (YES smiled) at the cameras, showing off her beautiful curves and toned legs in some black stilettos.
No doubt Kanye was close at hand to make sure his wife avoided any embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions.
The whole klan jetted off to the Strip yesterday to celebrate the star's big day a few days late, and we knew Kim would have a treat packed away.
She has posted a series of snaps from her night out on Instagram, and it looked like she rubbed shoulders with half her friendship group there.
