Sorry if i cant quote them properly as they are written but i remember them faintly... So what am trying to say is if wearing gold would pass you off as a showoff or a proud person, then it is better you shouldnt.

^^On your second point, of course we know God created them..however, Inappropriate use of these things is a sin, the same can be said of things like psyco-active drugs.. Or can we now say because God created 'crack', we should use it to get high?? Of course not.. Pls note that inappropriate use means not using smthing as it normally should. It covers areas like over-use, mis-use, or even using, depending on which subject we are talking abt.

Back to the issue, if it were to be someone TRULY seeking understanding about the scriptures or a new convert, then I would have carefully explained, but if it is someone who is asking such questions in order to cause confusion or who has other aims apart from understanding, then there is no need for me to waste my time with such individuals. Maybe you should read 2 Timothy 2:23
