POSITION: MOTOR POOL DRIVER

Age: Not more than 28 - 35 years Sex: Male
Job Summary:
Successful candidate would be responsible for
•Provide staff with assistance entering and exiting vehicles, and help them with any luggage.
•Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding fuel, oil, and water.
•Notify Fleet Officer of vehicle problems.
•Drive company cars to transport staff.
•Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that staff follow safety regulations.
•Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation.
•Perform errands for employers, such as delivering or picking up mail and packages.
•Communicate with Staff of Fleet Officer by telephone to exchange information and receive requests for staff service.
•Record name, date, and taxi identification information on trip sheets, along with trip information such as time and place of pickup and drop-off.
•Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles.
•Complete accident reports when necessary.
•Perform minor vehicle repairs such as cleaning spark plugs, or take vehicles to mechanics for servicing.

Reporting Relationships:
Reports to Fleet Officer.

Minimum Qualification / Experience Required:
•SSCE/First School Leaving Certificate.
•A pleasant and positive personality.
•Punctual and highly developed organizational skills
•Able to take instruction and work under a variety of conditions without supervision.
•Must be conversant with Nigeria Roads.
