Greetings Everyone. 80% of people on this platform who reside in lagos have done their int'l passport @ IKOYI OFFICE. This gets me thinking because my place is very far from ikoyi but close to FESTAC.I realised that NIS have offices in Festac & Ikeja too.
1. Will I be wasting my time if I go to apply for int'l passport @ festac(my place is not too far from festac).
Please your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I did mine in festac on the 8th of this month and collected yesterday.

All I spent is
15k for the passport
2k for address verification

Really? 15k for passport?.. Was it a fresh(new) passport or renewal?

because i know the price most people pay for passport is usually 25k

Festac is still doing the old standard passport and not the new enhanced e-passport. The new enhanced e-passport is obviously more expensive, the reason for the disparity in price. Also, I think only Ikoyi office in Lagos produces the new enhanced e-passport. The new enhanced requires NIN while the old one does not.

NIS is open, i was there on Tuesday.

I paid through innovate1pay and they sent me a receipt and validation number on my mail but payment haven’t reflected on NIS portal, seeing this I’m hopeful by tomorrow it should reflect

Yes you can...you MIGHT even be able to capture too on same day.

Once I got through the gate, everything was seamless.
Although the payment issue tried to raise its head again, it was resolved.

I was at Ikoyi also today even as early as 8am. The place was a war zone. To get my 3 kids to capture was war. Even my wife that went for collection could not pick up. The kept bringing out passports in small batches and it got to a point the whole place became rowdy. Crowd everywhere. Though someone mentioned a combination of factors such as today being a Friday, yesterday being a public holiday and the backlog of 32 pages applications may have caused it. We hope it would ease a bit next week.

Pls i need your help. i registered online for the e passport and i chose ikeja as my processing state. Now the issue i’m having is after the processing i was told to come back for data capture it’s been 3weeks now and they keep telling me my nimc record cannot be found. i’m getting frustrated already i went to nimc office alausa nd was told there was nothing wrong with my nin. I dnt knw if it’s because it’s DIY if that’s the reason can i change my processing state? pls help me

Hello house, has anyone collected their 32 pages passport from the Ikoyi office recently?

Yes i applied online, did everything myself and paid 25k for renewal of 32pages.

I captured on the day i went to submit but i assume that its because no booklet then. However it has been said that you can try to convince then to let you capture because you live far away.

My collection date has passed by a month so i decided to go there myself and it was ready. Once it’s been more than 2weeks since your capture and there’s available booklets you can head there to check and collect.

It was crazy, reached there around 9, queued till around 12, then the gate was forcefully open, the crazy rush was a Nigerian things and the minor rush to that collection official calling names Like it was judgement time.

yes you would be needing it, or you can get your registration Number (middle right) and one code (middle left ) including your full name.
