I captured in March and finally received my passport yesterday.

Festac NIS office is the most unorganised passport office in Lagos.

I spent the whole whole day trying to get my passport, we were kept outside under the sun with no seats. At the end of the day I got mine but my wifes' passport wasn't found.

How is that even possible? We captured on the same day for Christ sake!

(4) The passport you want to renew.

(7) Copy of your NIN slip.
( An application letter for renewal of passport. Address it to the PCO.

A copy is ok but go there with extra copies and original copies

From my experience at Festac office, passport issued/collected has to be ticked before you go for collection.

Please anyone who has used the DIY Route at Festac office for renewal, Please what do I need to take on the appointment day, aside from application form, receipts of payment, acknowledgement slip.
Please kindly give me a breakdown of how it goes at the office when I get there. My appointment day is nov 2nd, I don't want to have any reason to be told I didn't bring one document or the other. Please help!
Then also I have read people are talking about arrangement of file, what does this entail? what is the order of the arrangement so that I can do it before I get there.
Should I buy the standard brown file from anywhere or is a specific type of file that must be bought at the passport office?

Ibadan immigration office is nothing but den of extortion

Don't even bother paying any agent for Ibadan office because I met a girl who paid one of the officer at the gate but the guy only registered for her online without paying those at the computer to to make the work faster (despite that it's still corruption)

You can visit the place and talk to applicants who are waiting to collect their passport to understand how corrupt Ibadan immigration office was

If you are DIY, you may not get your passport till it expire because they will not release it to you
