omoteamac: Don't you think that's too much Bashing for the embattled coach? I certainly do and I guess a few others as well. And here's why; Honestly now, let's all cut Keshi 'some slacks'! Come to think of it, this man won the Nations cup for us after a 19 year wait where other coaches had failed woefully. Let's not also forget that Keshi was the first Nigerian coach in recent history to give equal opportunities to the local players hence the discovery and rise to stardom of players like,'Godfrey Oboabano, Kenneth Omeruo etc etc. He was brave enough to do that and succeeded whereas other local coaches easily ran to the so called foreign professionals who would go on to fail woefully at major competitions until the last AFCON. The last time Nigeria made it past the first round in the World Cup was far back in 1998 and let's not forget that Keshi achieved this feat only recently in June this year. Agreed Keshi totally got it wrong so far in the ongoing Nations Cup qualifiers with team selection and tactics alike. But then it's 'NOT' enough reason for us to be raining insults on him from all quarters, definitely NOT. One thing we must accept as Nigerians is that the NFF doesn't not have the financial capabilities or otherwise to WOO a top class coach in the mould of Mourinho, Van Gaal, Ancelotti et at to come and pilot the affairs of Nigerian football since that alone will be good for our football hence we would not have learnt from recent past history. Finally, I think all is not lost so long there's that distinct possibility that the 'SUPER EAGLES ' can still make Morocco 2015. Let's rally round and give Coach Keshi the 'NECESSARY ' support in the remaining 2 games! I have said my bit!!!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Iyowuski: And you think Nigerians will remember that? Bro, we have a culture of unceremoniously getting rid of our players no matter how good they once were. A few bad games and you're out the window. Go ask Yekini, Aiyegbeni, Oliseh and even Okocha. Mikel Obi was one of our best players at Afcon 2013. Some Nigerians were even clamouring for him to win the African footballer of the year just last December. 6 months later, he is the butt of all jokes 2 Likes 1 Share |

Now dis mata has got me furious. Wen did d president become a football administrator or soothsayer. Why not leave football administration for those that are concerned with dat No only in nigeria our leaders want to display federal might. I tot nff said keshi was sacked to save his life. If we dnt qualify for afcon and d coach is attacked pls hold GEJ responsible for d second death of keshi. afterall he is already dead tactically. |

yoged:What is this one saying? Man City listed him as. Striker to play as a midfielder!!! Ven his under 20. Coach has listed Nacho as a striker. Check his reports at Columbus crew, US. It says the Man City forward/ striker. Aguero started as a creative midfielder and was converted to one of the best strikers in the game. Coach Manu Garba said Finishing is Nacho's best ability. |
